hi - on an ibook 500 that is running 10.3.9, the menu bar is acting strange .... at first the name of the running app was simply disappearing - today, instead of reading "safari" it read ">com.quark.QuarkXPress</key" and safari itself hangs and needs to be force quit .... this has hapened with mail where the word "mail "disappeared.

any idea what this might be and what to do? ran disc utility and everythintg was ok .....
