I made no changes in System Preferences (but did check to see that the preferences actually are as before), but my the Hot Corners for Expose' are no longer working. I can use the F9 etc. keys, but that's not what I am used to. I prefer the corners method.

What happened?
And what can I do to make the hot corners work again?

Like I said, they are still supposedly activated in my System Preferences.

Try resetting them in System Preferences (that is alter the settings then alter them back again). It's possibly just a corrupted preference file.
