Hi.

Has anybody else found this, at all?

When I press F12, Dashboard no longer appears. I checked the configuration in the System Preferences, and it still seems configured to be triggered by F12.

It doesn't make any sense.

Can anybody shed any light on this?

Have you tried the dock icon? If that doesn't work, reinstall the combo update from Apple.

Yeah, I've tried running it direct from the Applications folder, and it still won't run.

I'll try reinstalling the update, and see what happens.

A reinstall of the 10.4.8 update didn't work.

Does anybody know where I can download Dashboard? Or, how I can extract it from the installation discs?

The Dock is "Dashboard". Try deleting the Dock preferences ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dock.plist and reboot.
