Hey. i'm new to mac and i bought a mac pro with 2 500gb disk, and i would really like to know how i can configure so i can write in the second one .

Right now i'm only using the 1st (macintosh HD) as boot and other stuff. because i can't write anything in it.

Go to the 'Utilities' folder, which will be inside the applications folder. Find 'Disk Utility', which allows you to select, test and format any disk. Just check that you aren't wiping the startup disk...

i try it already, although i just don't understand what i have to do .


i already instaled Creative Suite in the second hdd, but i can't create folders, do nothingin it, and i don't know why ... :!

You didn't somehow format the drive to NTFS did you?

Try repairing permissions, they might be screwed up and not allowing you to write to the drive.
