I think Jobs announced it at one of the Macworlds but I cant seem to find it. Is it HD-DVD or Blue ray?

They will use botha - ala the SuperDrive. It will be a hybrid device.

They started in the Blu-Ray camp, but later announced that they would be supporting both next-gen formats. No word if it'll be via a hybrid drive, or by the user's choice (or two separate drives, in the case of the Mac Pro).
