I am new to the Mac world. I got a new Mac Pro. I also have a few buffalo NAS devices on my network. How do I map (maybe mount) a network drive so that it's still there when I restart the Mac? (I can mount the drive no problem, but when I restart the Mac its gone.)

Thanks!

the best way i've found is to drag the hard drive icon to your dock. then you just click it connect to the drive.

I've not a great fan of auto mounting network drives, but if you want to do this go to System Preferences > Accounts, then on your account click Login Items and drag the drives here. that way every time you log it'll auto mount them
