i restarted on my computer yesterday and then an image more or less like this



appeared on the screen, blinking. nothing happened for a while so i pushed the power button and forced the computer to shut down. turned on again, all was fine. then it happened again to day, did the same thing, but image was there again so i just left it for 5min and the screen went white with the apple logo in the middle so i forced it to shut down again.

anyone has any idea what that means??? i'm getting a bit worried here...

edit: forgot to mention this last time i turned it on again, there was the image again and a couple of minutes later it started as if nothing had happened...

yeahh.. your computer is looking to boot of a server..

theres nthing wrong with this, but, to get rid you should :

1. turn off.
2. turn on.
3. immedialty after youve switched it on, hold down (Apple) + (alt) + p + r
until you hear the startup chime again, and realease the keys

Much easier way to do this Tim, wait for OS X to start, go to System Preferences and then Startup Disk, click on Network Disk and then back on your Mac OS X System Folder, all should then be fine.
