Lol, how did it get over there? Relaunching the finder would probably fix it.

It's more likely that relaunching the Dock would fix it.

It went away after I logged out and logged back in. I don't know how it got over there, I was moving some files around on various network shares and a couple of external drives. I went to start up firefox and I clicked on Mail's icon because I'm used to it being 2nd in the dock behind the finder icon...

I've seen something similar once. The Dock got confused, I think.
