I just noticed that when I have activated Dashboard and then hit cmd-space invoking Spotlight, Dashboard doesn't hide. It sticks there until I click onto something behind the widgets. The funny thing is you can still control Spotlight while Dashboard is activated: enter stuff in its search field, chose items form its menu, launch them, etc.

Is this a bug or could it be considered a feature?

Quicksilver behaves the same way, and to me it is a feature. It means I can launch Widgets without reaching for the mouse ...
