Hi,

My friends have a iMac G5. OS X 10.4.6. Their kids play with it a lot and the kids trashed some system files. Is there a way to lock down the system or hide the system foler from the reach of the eveil hands?

Don't give the kids admin accounts. If you're not an admin, you can't alter the system in any way.

It sounds like they don't have their own accounts...If they do, great, just make them Standard user. If they don't have their own account, make them one and put on parental controls.

Also, don't let them know the password for any admin account on the machine.
