Apparently going back down to 10.4.7 from 10.4.8 solves quite a few of the rampant Adobe CS problems on intel macs. My problem is that my MBP came with a 10.4.8 disc. I have a 10.4.7 disc from our intel mini but it won't run on the MBP and my older4 Tiger instal DVD is not universal so I cabn't use that. I can get the intel 10.4.7 updater download from the apple site but that won't take me back.

Any idea how I can get a copy of 10.4.7 to install on the MBP?

thanks

You can't. Your copy of OS X was specifically engineered for your laptop. Downgrading to previous releases would likely prove disastrous.

Sorry.
