sudo echo "127.0.0.1 myspace.com www.myspace.com" >> /etc/hosts may have been what you did, from the following link Can't locate deleted user [Archive] - The macosxhints Forums pretty much at the end of the forum.

Perhaps someone more versed in 'nix can be of help as how to undo this.

If jmiddel is indeed correct, you would just do this:

sudo pico /etc/hosts

Then, in the pico editor, delete the line of text containing MySpace. Exit and save.

It might take a while for the changes to take effect - you could reboot to expedite the process.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

Or you could just run lookupd -flushcache and avoid that whole reboot thing...

Personally, I think you should leave it as is. It adds value to your Mac.

Who needs MySpazze anyways ?

Generally your topic, "Help reversing changes made with terminal", has the same answer as "Help reversing changes made with knife & blowtorch"...

Fortunately, it's not quite that bad.
