OK. So I can play vob files one at a time with VLC. What I mean is, how can I play 4 together so that they run as one movie?

I know the answer is probably easy, but I've just started watching films on my mac and I really haven't a clue!

If they are in a VIDEO_TS folder together with all the other files from the DVD you ripped (?) then you can (for example) play them with Apples DVD player (or VLC)!
"File" menu -> "open VIDEO_TS" folder or something similar (<- I'm not on a Mac right now)

Press the playlist button



Then drag the files and order them how you want. Pretty easy.

Thanks. Just found the playlist button and threw them in!

Not sure about the other way. I clicked on the video-ts.vob and it just played a menu screen but it didn't respond to any clicking!
