So, my widgets are gone. Out of the blue, they just stopped working. When I do F12, the screen turns dark but no widgets come up. When I try to access the widget manager, it pops up but disappears before any widget list comes up. If I click on a widget from the widget dock it also disappears just after popping up.

Any ideas on how to fix this? I would hate to have to reinstall Tiger just to get my widget working again. Thanks.

Log out and in again...?

Tried logging out and back in, no luck. Other accounts on my computer also have same problem. Also, software update starts to load and then quits. So, I have no widgets and haven't been able to update software since Sept.
