Hello,

I bought a VGA cable and am using the VGA adapter thing that came with my iBook. I'm trying to use my Mac on my 32" HDTV monitor. The problem is that the native resolution of my HDTV (Polaroid FLM3232) is 1366x768. It only allows me to pick 1024x768 and 1280x1024 etc... so things look squished and awkward etc.

Can someone help me? Is there some kind of hidden command to create a custom resolution, or is there an application that will do it?

Thanks

I had a similar problem with a 22" lcd (1680x1050)

It would not work at native resolution with a vga cable... i asked a mac 'genius' who didnt really know, but suggested using a dvi cable... And it worked

Im sure there is a way to make this work!!! (the dvi from my macbook give loads of wierd resoultions including the one your after)
