Get DiskWarrior and run it. It'll most likely be able to fix your problem.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

You've got a disk problem that Disk Utility isn't able to fix - your options are either to go buy a better disk utility (DiskWarrior, which every Mac user should have anyway), or to reformat the drive.

Did you try using Disk Utility after booting from the OS X install CD?

Yeah that did the job - Using OS X Install

However I know get this message when trying to install Boot Camp - Any ideas?

Back up the disk and use Disk Utility to format the disk as a single Mac OS Extended (Journaled) volume. Restore your information to the disk and try using Boot Camp Assistant again

Btw, do you have any Adobe software on your Mac? I ran into this problem before and it was caused by a particular foreign language file in the Legal folder of one of my Adobe apps. I don't remember which Adobe app (maybe Photoshop) but I just deleted the Legal folder and it fixed the problem.

Gotcha. Just a little advice, proof your posts before posting them. It makes it easier for us to understand them. I'm assuming you meant to say in the above post that the illegal names "have gone" but what you wrote implies the exact opposite.

That aside, does your drive have more than one partition?
