OK so this is extremely strange... On my C2D Macbook the power button, when pushed, does not prompt to shutdown, reboot etc. I know the button, itself, works. The really odd thing is that from the Apple menu shutdown and reboot also do nothing.

Anybody ever seen this?

It's not too big of a deal because I can shut it down via command line fine. But... VERY strange.

It's up to date -- I was thinking Onyx broke it, but I went back to stock settings and it didn't change anything.

You may not just post "found it!" What did you find and what led you to that? Seriously, it helps everyone if you tell us what you found and how you found it.
