Copying Mac OS X DVD For Backup

I managed to use Nero to copy Mac OS X Power PC onto a DVD a while ago. The original DVD has now broken so I used the copied DVD to reinstall.

When I subsequently tried to make a copy of the copied disk for backup purposes the copy process always finishes but I cannot read the new DVD on my machine - And I can read the original on my machine.


What am I doing wrong ?

When I intsall the new DVD Finder doesnt dislay the image , and the spinning wheel appears - However from the Terminal under /Volumes/ I can see the DVD ok.
