I have a NAS in the network .. After every reboot it disconnects again and I have to connect the share manually again.

Is there a way to automatically do that ... ?

Take a quick peek at Automator. I'd never looked at it until just now and I already figured out how to fix your problem. Here's what I did:
-Open Automator
-In the 'Search' box type in 'server'
-Drag the item 'Get Specified Servers' to the workflow space
-Hit the '+' button and enter the address of your NAS in the box
-Drag the item 'Connect to Servers' to the box
-Click 'Run' to test it and make sure it works. Now save it as an application.
-Open up System Preferences, select 'Accounts'
-Under your username click 'Login Items' and find the application you just made.

Now whenever you log in it should run the script and automatically connect to your server.

Hey, just found this post via a google search. Great info, thanks. One question though...

I'd like for it to automatically connect to my drive whenever I connect to my home network. Is there a way to do it that way instead of as a login item? If its set up to run when I log in, every time I turn on the computer and I'm not home, it will error....

Thanks,
Matt
