OS X 10.4.8 PPC. Every once in a while the default "open with" applications reset themselves. For example .rtf and .doc files are assigned to NeoOffice, but sometimes they get reverted to TextEdit. I found this thread here and tried to rebuild the LaunchServices database and to assign again the applications, but some time later they were reverted again.

Any ideas how to fix this?
