So I was contemplating installing a 3rd Linux OS on my MBP. So I went through the frist steps and secetioned off another volume of about 12GB. I've decided that I really have no reason to do this, and so I want to recombine the two volumes, without messing with the Windows XP volume. Is there a way to do this?
Disk Util shows it as a non mount point valume, as Microsoft basic Data system, even though its a linux file system. It doesn't have any options highlighted, verify, repair, I can't even Erase it, the only thing that might work is restore, but I don't have a disk image that I would want to use, I just want to recombine it with my main Mac OS X Volume.
Also Bootcamp has some error message about my partitions:
Your startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition
your startup disk must be formatted as a singe mac os extended (journaled) volume or already partitioned by boot camp assistant for installing windows.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
