recently i have somehow gotten a network drive that shows in my finder window. it is simply named "." i have no idea what it is or what its for, or how it got there. i am also unable to eject it. when i get info on this network drive, it says the format is WebDAV, and the server is http://localhost:9345. but when i go to this url in firefox, it is blank. i even reinstalled osx, and the problem was gone, but it soon after returned.
anyone have any idea what this is or how i can get rid of it? thanks!

i wouldnt have a clue what software i have that would do this. get info says my current user is the owner. and whats really strange is, it says the capacity is 2047.9GB and that same ammount is free. thing is, my hd is only 400gb.
get info reports that the mount point is: /private/tmp/.
i checked this location, and the volume was hidden, and it is greyed out when i un-hid it. theres nothing inside of it, cant eject. arghh!

A directory named . is shorthand for the current directory, so the network share . is simply the directory containing all the shares. It should be invisible in the Finder, however, so maybe something has made it visible. It could actually be a hacking attempt - it's an old trick to make directories named ". " (. and a spacebar) because they aren't obvious if you do an ls -a to show all files in a directory.
