I just "converted" my dad's friend from Windoze to OS X. She is fairly computer literate. And she just ordered a new 20" iMac coming next week w/ 2GB RAM (has been using XP for a few years).

What books, web sites, etc. should I recommend that she read, considering that she's a switcher? Trying to get her up to speed on the notable pragmatic differences in the way we do things between XP and OS X.

She's asked me for guidance but I don't want to overwhelm her.

Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't read any magazines or books. Just have him start working on projects...

This site is also good for Q&A if they aren't too basic.

Yeah, everything is pretty self explanatory - there are a few quirks, the ones that a lot of windows users seem to be hung up on are the shared toolbar, one button mice, installing / uninstalling and the dock. But most people figure it out.
