Anyone know how to autohide other apps when switching to a new application? Typically, I do this by Command-Tab switching to my new app, then going back and hitting Command-H to hide the app I just swtched from. The point is to have only one application visible at a time. Is there an easier, more straightforward and more efficient way to do this? Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks!

Not automatic but possibly more efficient - you could Command-Tab to the new app and then hit Alt-Command-H to hide all other apps.

Command-option-click on a window for the app you want will make all the others vanish.

I'm sure there would be some freeware to do it automatically for you too. Maybe have a search around on macupdate.com

Just the option key works fine, no need for the command/apple key
