can anyone tell me how i upoad a dvd to my hard drive from a disk?..

You "rip" or copy DVDs to disk. If you are talking about unencrypted DVDs, you can use iSquint. Otherwise, there are two very prominent free tools. . .

i want to copy some of my movies to hard drive that are on disks..

As I said, iSquint should be able to handle unencrypted .VOB DVD files.

Type 'DVD' and 'rip' and 'OS X' into google. That should get you started.

Oh c'mon guys, we've mentioned the tools a thousand times before.

Mac the Ripper (if you want the raw dvd, large files) or Handbrake (if you want it recompressed with a newer codec to take up less space)
