Hi all,

is it possible to block certain applications, so that they are not able to send data over the internet? I know there is a commercial software out there which can do this, but i am looking at a free app or a way to do it via built in tools!

You should be able to do a portscan to determine what traffic is being sent, and create firewall rules to block this traffic.

For the former, you could use Little Snitch during its 30 day trial to determine what traffic is being sent from the application, and from what port.
