Hey guys, I'd like to be able to hit the "return" key in the finder when an application is highlighted and launch the app. Currently the default behavior is to go into the edit name field.

How can I make "return" open documents and applications? I don't want to use a different finder, I want to use osX's built in finder.

Please help!

I like that idea, I can do that. But still, I'd even more prefer to only hit the return key.

You aren't going to be able to reassign the command - it is hardwired into the system. You'll have to use command-O.

When I navigate finder with the keyboard I rest my thumbs on the command keys. This way I can do all my favorite hot-keys, command-o, command-w, command-n, command-k, etc. with little effort.
