I left about 50 things open on my work computer when I left and I was wanting to work on some of them from home. I can't really log in and copy a file that is open on the other machine and VNC isn't overly fast or intuitive (but sometimes usable). So I got to thinking. Wouldn't it be cool if Apple made remote computing friendly?

Here's my idea. Leopard's iChat has the ability to control a computer remotely and some nifty graphics, but it is primarily designed to interact with someone else's machine. Leopard also has a new paradigm for organizing projects with Spaces. I think it would be cool if you could assign a remote login to a Space. Switch to the Work Remote Space and you are on the desktop you left at work. It seems like it would be pretty easy to implement and it would be incredibly useful.

What do you think?

It would basically be Remote Desktop with a cool transition effect?

Yeah, I guess. But it would be included with Leopard like the remote desktop is with iChat so it would be free
