I have a Western Digital external HD hooked up to my PowerBook. There were a bajillion MP3's on this HD, which I imported into my PB HD. I then trashed the files from my WD HD, into my PB trash can. All of the files would then empty execpt for around 1.5 gigs of them. I have tried just about everything...secure empty, option empty, drag to desktop (this just copies the files), etc....

PLEASE HELP....

Try Super Empty Trash.
It's a free, "simple AppleScript applet that will empty the Trash with administrator privileges. Usefull for those files that cannot be deleted, even using the "⌘⌥⌫" combination..."
