i have a friend in town with a first-gen macbook.
she wanted me to help her with it, run disk utility.
can i boot her mb from my (generic) 10.4 install dvd?
or does she need a later-version dvd (that 10.4)?

thanks!

Not to mention the fact that you have to have an Intel version of 10.4 to boot it, which your 10.4 DVD is not.

You need an Intel-specific OS X version.
