Is your vista partition ntfs? because if it is you need to install ntfs-3g and fuse to be able to write to your vista partition on osx.
Just go here:
MacFuse macfuse - Google Code
NTFS-3G http://idisk.mac.com/shadowofged/Pub...201.417-r3.dmg
Just install those 2 packages and reboot and you will be able to see and write to your vista partition through OSX.
Also if you have linux installed installed you can install this package as well for ext2-3 read/write support in OSX:
ext2fsx SourceForge.net: Files

I don't think he's trying to write to the Windows drive but just wants to see it appear on the Desktop.

Go to DiskUtility (/Applications/Utility/), select your Windows partition or drive and click the Mount button.

well i already solved my problem...its actually the windows fault...after i reinstall windows...the problem solve...so my advice to you all. if you have boot camp...just use the defragmenter from windows...the other party defragmenter just wont do it...unless if only windows hardware..not the dual os environtmen
