hi folks! i have a G4 1.5 PB that quite regularly hangs up on shut down/restart. the error i see in console is:
2007-05-10 14:05:04.279 SyndicationAgent[964] WARNING: BestCalendarDateFromString - can't interpret: 'Thu 10 May 2007 10:40:36 -800'
(over and over and over...)
is this my problem? what could it mean?
your help is greatly appreciated!

Hmmm... is this a new problem? Have you tried repairing permissions? Have you tried creating a new user account to see if the problem is specific to one account? Perhaps a more helpful thread title might help too?

Try it - that will tell you whether something has become corrupted in that user account, or whether it is a system wide problem. I am reluctant to jump to the conclusion that iCal or some underlying date system has been corrupted, but it might be worth deleting the config files for that to see.

I don't think that message has anything to do with your shut down/restart hangs. I get that all the time and am not having any problems. Of course, I rarely shut down or restart.
