I just had a kernel panic. When I rebooted, I heard the startup chime, then two chimes one right after the other.

Anyone know what that means? This is a Mac Pro...not even 3 months old.

Here's the top of panic.log:

then it ends with: Backtrace terminated-invalid frame pointer

Any ideas?

Two chimes usually means a problem with RAM. Incompatible or not seated properly.

So I should reseat it, then run memtest?

This is the RAM that came with it...no third-party modules.

If it has been running fine since you bought it, the RAM doesn't need to be reseated. The RAM could just be faulty now.
