Webdav file system authentication error

Since the latest OS update I now receive the aforementioned webdav error everytime I log in. My machine also locks up numerous times a day after the update.
Anyone know how to cure the webdav file error? The lock ups are another issue but first things first.
Any and all advice is greatly appreciated.

Sorry. On the way out the door when I posted. Not sure what caused it. It started to appear after the last OS X update.
The cure - search your hard drive for the file: webdav_fs.kext
When you find it delete it

Deleing system components is not really the best of ideas. You have just broken a feature of OS X.

WebDAV. Do you use WebDAV to connect to web servers? Do you have a .Mac account?
