hi guys/girls,
I'm Mick, been reading these forums for just under 2 years now but never posted.
I've been using OSX for about 4 years now, and got myself a new macbook just recently.
My problem today if anyone can help and i know its a longer than long shot;
I put my external WD hdd in and transfered a folder called "Ballarat Uni" to my documents directory with a folder also named "Ballarat Uni", as i was coming from windows theory, it would just add all the missing files. To my non-handed in assignment of disgust, pressing Replace deleted everything and i lost my networking essay due on Monday.
I immediately seached google for a restoring program, its been going for the last 8-9 hrs looking through my internal HDD. I know once its gone, its gone on mac....but is it possible to get it back at all? i'm using MediaRECOVER, but i think its going to ask me to buy it if it does find my file. cheers Mick
