On Windows I right click a folder and the properties show me the folder size in total (including subfolder). When I do the same, but use Get Info it gives me the info of each single folder .. So when I have 10 subfolder I have suddenly 10 get info information on the screen.

How can I do it on Mac to see the total size of a folder including all subfolder and files ?

No no, when you select a folder in Mac OS and 'get info' you just get one info panel which displays the size of the folder (among other things) including all subfolders.

You do not get an information window for each subfolder. You have to individually select 10 folders and then get info to get 10 different 'get info' windows.

You can bypass that by pressing down 'option' while selecting 'get info'.

Ah, thanks he magic option key

But it is the other way around (unless I misunderstood you) ... When I selected two folder and pressed Get Info, two windows popped up with the information .. when I press option and get info - it changes to get inspector and I get just one popup with the full size .. either way, the option key was ... the key Thanks ..
