I just installed the 10.4.10 update onto my Sawtooth G4 and now Safari 2.04 doesn't work. It loads up and dies, but it's only on certain (most) web pages such as Sign Up - My Yahoo! I repaired disk permissions, killed APE, rebooted into safe mode, etc. with no change.

Has anyone seen this same behavior with 10.4.10? Is there a way to fix it? I'll be resorting to Camino 1.5 in the interim but prefer Safari.

Thanks.

Have you tried going ahead and "Reparing Permissions" this was one of the first things that I did when I installed the update. Also go ahead and delete Safari's ".plist" files and running the program, this helped me when Safari would constantly crash for me. I suppose a last ditch effort would be to re-install Safari via the Mac OSX restore DVD's that came with your G4.

THe first thing I did was repair disk permissions which didn't fix my problem. You suggested I trash my plist which I did, but that didn't dix it either. That idea got me to search for "safari" using Spotlight and I saw SafariPlus and SafariTidy installed in the InputManagers folder. I trashed them and all's fine now. Thanks.
