I bought a macbook (black) made in Nov of 06, it's has OS 10.4.10 on it but no remote, so I bought a remote (it's not here yet) and am wondering where frontrow is? I did a search on the computer and it's shown as a package to install...I try and try, but it keeps quitting the instal. Can I somehow download a "new" frontrow from somewhere? I don't have the OS disks.

any ideas?

As long as you're on a Front Row enabled computer, it's always running, so double clicking on it will not do anything.

But it's at...

/System/Library/CoreServices/Front Row.app

Both the Install disks and the remote are part of the package. You are aware that you bought an incomplete MacBook? I hope the price you paid reflected this and that it wasn't stolen.

You can also download it from Apple: Apple - Support - Downloads - Front Row 1.3
