I have an iBook G4 and when I cut it on it starts up and loads OS X but once the loading OS X screen goes away it just sits there with a blue screen. I can move the mouse but nothing happens after that. What do you think would be the best way to fix this issue? Thanks ahead of time.

Boot up from the OS X installation disc and run disk utility to find/repair any disk or system issues (you can open this program by choosing it from one of the menu options after booting from the install disc).

Thats true it might be something wrong with the startup disk, it might need to be repaired.

I also suggest running the hardware test disc that came with your iBook.
