Is there a way for me to see the total file sizes of a group of selected folders? When I select several folders and click the more info option OS X just tells me the sizes of each folder individually. I could just do the math and add them all up but sometimes I'm selecting a large group and don't want to take the time to do the math.
Hold down the option key and look in the File menu and there should be an item called "Show Inspector" that will do what you want. (You can also just hit the shortcut apple-option-I to show the inspector.)

`alt/option + i' gives you information on the current selection, including total size. However, when you change the selection, the info will change, too.
