OK people, here is my problem. Right now, I have my MacBook, and two External HD's serving as storage. However, this week, for some reason unbeknowest to me, whenever I try to move files from one external to another, or from my laptop to the externals, I get an -36 OS X Error. I googled what exactly that particular error means, but when I read it, it seemed to be a completely unrelated type of error. So now, I have 750 GB of storage that essentially is useless because I cannot transfer anything. I also made the attempt to move files from my brother's PC to my computer over our network, and the same error resulted. This seems to be an OS X problem, and at this rate god knows I'll be forced to format the computer. Does anyone know of any potential fixes/solutions to my problem? Thanks so much.
