I am running into a very strange problem:
Finder locks up every time I right-click on the desktop...
I have to force quit it and make it restart...

Everything works wonderfully, but put it frankly, right clicking on desktop makes the finder go crazy, and it's very annoying...

I have no clue as to where to start to solve it...
... and would appreciate any help!

System is a MacBookPro 2.2, OSX 10.4.10.

You have a buggy plug-in in there (probably from StuffIt). Trash it, reboot, and all will be fine.

Checked it.
Had one in system library and one in home folder's library, they were Serenity screensaver and Toast.
Now it seems to work!
Keep my fingers crossed :-)
