My macbook pro is "vincolated" (i'm from Italy and i don't know how is this function named in english) to an active directory win2003 server.

When i login locally, and my server is on i have 1-2 seconds to wait after writing the password.

When i am somewhere else, with a wireless connection active and macbook pro connected ... my login requires something like 3 or 4 minutes ...
Obiouvsly i have a local copy of "profile" (something like roaming profile), generated upon specific request of OS on my 1st login.

What to do?

Does it take 3 or 4 minutes to do an ldap search on the command line?
