I have a computer I have been working on that has all icons, including folders, that will not move. They will open but will not move. They will not even move and snap back. This is everywhere on the computer, not just the desktop. Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks

So you cannot drag any Finder items? You can double-click to open them but otherwise they just sit there? Sounds like something's amiss.

If you can delete files, (via cmd-delete, drag to trash, or terminal commands) try deleting:

~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.BezelServices.plist
