I am in a lab of 24 iMacs and would love to limit the sound volume. The kids run the volume way up and I constantly have to turn them down. Headphones are not an option. I was hoping there was a way to put a limit on the volume control. Any ideas?

I know you said headphones aren't an option, but you should disconnect the speakers and make them use headphones if they want to listen to anything.

You *might* be able to do this on your OS X Server which is undoubtedly running as an Open Directory Master. You have the manage the computers as a Computer List. From there I think it's possible to limit sound.
