Hey, Guys. I got a used iMac, and long story short it doesn't have an accounts preference panel. I don't have install discs, though I'm working on it. Can someone with a iMac Core 2 Duo (white kind, not the brand new ones) PLEASE email me the accounts syspref file, located in System > Library > Preference Panes > Accounts.Prefpane.

Thank you so much.

Resloved, now I need someone to send me the Installer App.

FYI...

It doesn't matter which kind of Mac it comes from as long as it's the same version of OS X. If you're running 10.4.10, then any Intel Mac running 10.4.10 will work.

Most likely, other versions would work too since prefpanes don't get updated very often.

OK, now I need someone to send me their "Installer" App. Once again from an Intel Mac running 10.4.10.

The iMac seller really screwed up the install.

If he sold it to you without all the relevant DVDs that have all these installers on them, then yes he really screwed up. You shouldn't really be running 10.4.x if you don't have a 10.4.x installation DVD.

Sorry, I know this is not helpful, but just reminding you that even if you solve all the problems now, you are still screwed when the next set of problems appear.
