A little background- used a Dell since 1997. As soon as Leopard is out, I am going to get a 20" iMac.

A few questions, since I am new to the scene:

*When they say October release..that means October 31, right?

*Is a dot mac account worth it?

*what IS the remote for that comes with it?

*Is the mouse crappy like I have heard? IE scroll button or whatever breaks.

Mouse ball needs cleaning with an eraser once in a while, other than that the mouse is great.

Leopard was scheduled for spring 2007...

.. and so I wouldn't rely too much on release dates.

Tiger is great, and it is a mature application. Is there anything in the Leopard features that you absolutely need?
