my login items are
1.ituneshelper .i think it is not important and it is safe to delete
2.eyetv helper .not sure perhaps it is to do with launching eyetv when you plug the device
3.magic menu .it is stuff it for right click and shortcut.. leave it enable
4.adoberecourcesyncronizer . ? adobe products...dont know what it does and dont know if it is safe to delete or not..some one konws??

if you have an ipod or iphone, you should keep ituneshelper active. I think it will also activate itself anytime you use iTunes -- regardless of whether you have an ipod/iphone.

According to Elgato, eyetv helper is "a small program called EyeTV Helper, which is involved in detecting EyeTV on the FireWire/USB bus."

I've found most of the "helper" items usually reappear in the Login Items whether I delete them or not.

you could probably find the apps and delete or put in a zip folder where the system couldn't find it.
