I want a frequently used interactive document, which is really an application to me, to be put on the application side of the Dock. Possible?

Thanks.

No. You could put an AppleScript to open it on the left side, but that seems kind of odd considering you could just stick the document in its place and be done.

You could actually do it by hacking the com.apple.dock plist file. Don't ask me for specific directions, because it's easy enough to figure out on your own, and I don't know if it still works in current OS versions (it definitely used to back in 10.2 and under).

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

Alright, thanks guys. I'll see if I can edit it to do that. I just don't like it there where the minimized windows go.
