I've got a school computer in a lab that someone changed the admin password, graduated and left (leaving no password).

I've got a 10.4 install DVD, but it's a G4 tower with a CD drive. I believe there is a way to get around the password in target disk mode, but I haven't had any luck finding how.

Any ideas?

You can't just re-image the machine and be done with it? Most school labs take advantage of NetBoot and can restore machines in a few minutes from a network image.

So you re-image manually? Off CD/DVD? External HD?
